As a Student Host, you will take the lead in organizing your ALIGN event while working alongside a Physician Host and the ALIGN team.
Your responsibilities may include:

- Organizing supplies and materials
- Coordinating volunteers to facilitate the health education stations
- Identifying and assisting your Physician Host during the event
- Completing a post-event reflection and report
Detailed planning instructions and resources will be available through the ALIGN Host Resources once your event is underway.

Start by identifying a local school where you would like to bring ALIGN.
We recommend beginning with schools you have worked with in the past or reaching out through your existing network of students, parents, teachers, community members, or other contacts.Personal connections can often make it easier to identify the right person to contact and introduce ALIGN to the school.
We’ve also included a sample letter to the principal that you can use when reaching out to a school.
